Todd Boehly sent clear Victor Osimhen Chelsea transfer message amid Man United interest
Chelsea transfer news: The Blues may have to act quick to sign a striker in the summer, with Napoli star Victor Osimhen a huge potential signing for Todd Boehly

“I don’t know whether this was the case but from the outside,” Potter said last month when asked about scoring issues. “It seemed Chelsea had a problem with scoring goals and they spent close to £100m on a No 9 who was meant to fix the problem. As far as I can see, it didn’t fix the problem.”
That’s Napoli star Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker who has impressed and may only be second to Erling Haaland in terms of output this season in Europe. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to rivals Manchester United as they look to land their own forward, but after another two-goal display in the Champions League on Wednesday, the decision to pursue him should be clear.
Former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry was asked where he could see Osimhen playing next season and he told CBS Sports: “We go back to a Chelsea, we go back to a United if I’m thinking Premier League. Paris Saint-Germain would look for a nine, because they are looking for a nine. So many teams I’m thinking, where is a nine missing?
“We know [Erling] Haaland is there [at Man City], let’s not talk about Kane and where he’s gonna go or maybe stay [at Tottenham]. But those are the teams that I’m thinking are playing without a nine at the minute, or maybe they might lose one, because Paris Saint-Germain sometimes uses Kylian Mbappe inside, and we all know he’s not a nine. Is he gonna stay or not?
“But he’s gonna go wherever he wants to go. I think he can adapt to a lot of sides.”
